This season is changing for the worse, because this bitterness has left it's mark. And I've grown friendly with disappointment. I've grown away, away from you. It's sad but it's true. Ever since we had our heart to heart, I have not looked at you in the same way. (My hopes were too high you set me straight) I've grown away, I've grown away from you. I've grown away, I've grown away from you. From you. It's only because I care. It's only because I care. It's only because I care. It's only because I care. This season is changing for the worse, because this bitterness has left it's mark. And I've grown away, I've grown away from you. It's true. Yeah grown away, I've grown away from you. From you.

I did not see last night coming, tonight the fun will begin. One last chance to follow through, so tell me what am I, tell what am I supposed to... do? And I swear, that without you I'll be scared. And I know, I get dizzy as you turn to go. I failed to see this light come in, and now I'm blinded again. So much so I can not see, the forest for the trees. And I swear, that without you I'll be scared. And I know, I get dizzy as you turn to go. 'Cuz when the world is spinning, you're the one I see clearly. And when I am singing, you're the one I see clearly. And I swear, that without you I'll prepare, to go wherever you may go.

I've been to the other side And I couldn't stand it one bit And I thought that it was time time for me to write my Places And I crossed a line When I knew that the end was nigh And I thought that it was time time for me to get wasted Well some time, it was all she needed from me But I, I thought time was too luxury I've admitted all my faults and wrongs Don't want to be writing break up songs Everyone wants storied romances She gave me one more chance for changes I broke out my guitar When my girl she broke my heart Because the best of the best lines Come from the worst of the worst times Well I don't think it's worth it To lose everything we worked for To get a song on the radio No I will not let you go Now I'm glad I made you believe That girl, you know that you've seen some good in me I've admitted all my faults and wrongs Don't want to be writing break up songs Everyone wants storied romances She gave me one more chance for changes Now I've got my chance to change my ways I promise you girl there will be better days You may not believe me or think I'm pretend But I know if I don't you'll walk out again I know if I don't you'll walk out again I know if I don't you'll walk out again Well I've admitted all my faults and wrongs Don't want to be writing break up songs Everyone wants storied romances She gave me one more chance and I've admitted all my faults and wrongs Don't want to be writing break up songs Everyone wants storied romances She gave me one more chance for changes (I'm so grateful, I'm so grateful, I'm so grateful, you're not hateful)

How can you fix what, don't need fixing? How can you miss what, is not missing? How can you feel sorry for yourself when you're not alone? How can you run away when you're away from home? If you spend your whole life hating the unknown, the unknown You'll spend your whole life waiting to know, to know How's it gonna break, when your heart's never been whole? (No longer need to be afraid) How you gonna shake the patterns that you know? (Stop running, you'll never get away) Don't stop walking if you're standing at the crossroads (All alone) Are you the moss or are you the rolling stone? If you spend your whole life hating the unknown, the unknown You'll spend your whole life waiting to know, to know Step away from your pride, it only poisons your mind And the time that you bide, will soon wither and die You can't escape the fire, growing higher and higher And I know that I've been running so long that I don't know where to go, so I'm finally facing the unknown. (Step away from your pride, it only poisons your mind And the time that you bide, will soon wither and die You can't escape the fire, growing higher and higher) Facing the unknown. Facing the unknown.

Well just because we're far apart, it doesn't mean we're broken up. Even when the hardest part, is wondering what you're doing. I'll embrace the change, and we'll remain the same. Because until the end, you'll always be my best friend And when the glass is shattered, just remember we're not broken. And when the nights are silent, just remember my voice spoken. Sometimes it feels hard, I know it can be tough, through hell i know our love's enough. Our hands are cold with shame, and so hot fingers point to blame. We wont mean it, or believe it, trust me of that I know. I'll hold you never let go, no never. And when the glass is shattered just remember we're not broken And when the nights are silent just remember my voice spoken It's six o'clock, alarm's off, my heart throbs. The one girl I need is gone, I feel robbed of my vision. Love's blind, no dog to eye see, but there's always something there to remind me. From your empty pillow case, to the picture frame on the window pane. There is no pain greater than being away from you. I truly wish you'd spend less time on my mind, and more in my bed. Maybe I'm talking selfish, it's testing. We could meet halfway like omnivore intestines. Go for dinner, eating shellfish. Then turn back on the same road alone again. Wanna stay your friend, but also know it spells the end. So we're fractured, not broken. Recovery time shortened. I'll be waiting for you when you come back home baby girl. You're the only one that got me this open, So I'm hoping, We're not broken.

It's been so long since I saw you, I don't know if I would know your face, It doesn't seem like something I could just erase, away. It's been so long since I met you, but you know that I still know the day. I looked at you without a word to say. And I know that I couldn't let you go, again. I find it hard to let you go without saying. All the words that I just never got to say. "I love you" But that should go without saying. These brown eyes will only see grey. Until I let me feelings fade away, and stay away The same old night the same old damn same, Although I say "I'm fine" the hurt remains, And it will always remain. And I know that I couldn't let you go, again. I find it hard to let you go without saying. All the words that I just never got to say. "I love you" But that should go without saying. (I couldn't let you go) It's been so long since I lost you, but you know that I still know the day You left without warning, not a word to say. (Without saying)

The Long Run 03:16
He whispers "I love you" and she listens with a smile. They lay together stay in silence for a little while. And all along they've known they'll be together always. She holds his hand and deep inside they know, That they'll never, they'll never have to let go. And all along they've known they'll be together always. Even though they've thought of the worst. It's helped them plan to make it work. They tell themselves that each others the one, They're in it for the long run. He tells her he loves her and she replies back to him, That she is confident in the plan they've made to win. Even though all along they've known they'll be together always. She holds him tightly not wanting to let go, He wraps his arms around her just as tight as they will go. And he reminds her that they'll be together always. Even though they've thought of the worst. It's helped them plan to make it work. They tell themselves that each others the one. They're in it for the long run. They're in it for the long run. They're in it for the long run. I'm in this for the long run.

Well I find it hard to get past the start, when all I want to do is, Go back to when it all began. When my mind was clear, and I didn't fear. The chance of rejection, the face of regret. The constant pressure of these four walls. The outlook is hazy but there's hope yet. The continuous push, the push from my past. And when I met the girl of my dreams, I knew just what to do. I just laid my cards out and followed suit. To avoid The chance of rejection, the face of regret. The constant pressure of these four walls. The outlook is hazy but there's hope yet. The continuous push, the push from my past. The push from my past. It's impossible for you not to change my future. It's improbable for you to call what's next. But one thing I know is I'll be there, yeah I'm sure. For tomorrow, and all the rest.

I'm trying to find out the ways that you mean to me. Write it all out, and stick to a melody. I'll try not to wake you as I'm quietly strumming along. I'll try not to wake you as I'm quietly writing your song. Filling out lines with rhymes as they come to me. When you shut your eyes, I'll sing along peacefully. If I say goodnight now, well tell me what would it show? If I said goodnight now, would you really know? So I'll keep on writing and scratching out aimlessly. Finding the words that explain how you mean to me. If I get them down by the morning then maybe I'll show. If I get them down by the morning then baby you'll know. I'll see you in the sunshine. I'll see you in the daylight. The moment you wake up you know I'll be by your side. The moment you wake up you know that you'll be alright. With me in the sunshine.

So as for now, I need to say, "I love you more each passing day" More than I ever thought could be. You mean the world to me. You mean the world to me. You mean the world to me. And so I'll wait, til the time is right. 'Til all is said and done And I'll stay by your side, as if you'd do for me. The world to me. You mean the world to me You mean the world to me And so I'll stay, I'll stay. (You mean the world to me) (I'll stay by your side, as if you'd do for me.) (The world to me) So as for now, I need to say, "I love you more each passing day" More than I ever thought could be. You mean the world to me.

The way I wrap my arms around you, keeping you so safe at night. The way I'm there to talk to you about everything that isn't going alright. The way you laugh. The way you smile. Makes everything I do so worth while. If there's one thing that I believe in. Our love is in the little things. Well I'll be standing there jaw dropped bottom of the stairs, after waiting for you, to pick out your best pair, of your million shoes. It doesn't matter if you're making us late, You prep for hours even though you know, I think you'd look great, in my shoes. But I appreciate the fact, that you want to look your best. You make it easy, so easy to love you And I hope you don't overreact, when I say you look gorgeous in that little black dress. It's easy, so easy to love you. And I show it in, The way I wrap my arms around you, keeping you so safe at night. The way I'm there to talk to you about everything that isn't going alright. The way you laugh. The way you smile. Makes everything I do so worth while. If there's one thing that I believe in. Our love is in the little things. I know, our love is in the little things. I know, our love is in the little things. I know.

about

"Chance For Changes" is my debut album. It's about love, loss, and love again. "Chance For Changes" the song is about breaking up and getting another shot, the album is so much more than that. I've been writing, playing and recording music for 10 years now and I finally feel ready to take a bigger, more professional step into it. This album is my chance to change the way I've approached music as a whole in the past. I recorded the entire album from my home studio over the past year, working on it when I had time. I was really aiming for a specific sound in the end. I knew what I was capable of after attending Seneca College in Toronto for Independent Music Production. I wanted to take 10 songs and record them to the best of my ability. I feel I've done that.
